It is priced under $300 and offers support for wireless casting, a built-in battery, and a small, light, and trendy design, which is why it is a strong candidate in the portable monitor market. Despite the fact that it provides amazing portability and the convenience of a cable-free connection, the low color accuracy and speaker quality are among its drawbacks.
Design and Build Quality
The ViewSonic VG1656N model is a stylish product with a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. - Screen coating: Matte coating finishing will help reduce glare in direct sunlight slightly.
- OSD settings: Adjustment of brightness and contrast are sufficient. The set does not support the color customization integrity claim or the HDR (high dynamic range) function.
- Audio quality: Well enough just for talking. Bad for serious listening or watching movies.
- Battery life: It can only stand for a maximum of 3 hours when out of the reach of any power source.

The ViewSonic VG1656N is very portable and has wireless flexibility, making it an excellent option for remote workers, frequent travelers, or those requiring a secondary screen. Despite an average color performance and weak speaker quality, the wireless function and the built-in battery of its stands for this one as a very user-friendly and economic solution. If you don’t mind the degradation of the perfect visuals but would prefer wireless horses, this monitor will be a good option for you.
